Terms of use and disclaimer
These terms cover compute.md: the website, the COMPUTE.md skill file, the API at /api/v1 and the MCP server at /mcp (together, “compute.md”). By using compute.md you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use it.
1.Use at your own risk
compute.md is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, availability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. You use it at your own risk.
2.Information may be wrong or out of date
Model details and hardware specifications come from public sources and automated processing. We don’t verify them, and they can be inaccurate, incomplete, not current or unavailable. Sizing figures are rules of thumb, roughly ±20%, and speeds are upper bounds.
compute.md doesn’t list, quote or compare prices. Get prices, capacity and terms from your providers, and confirm everything before you rent or buy.
3.Not advice
Nothing on compute.md is financial, investment, legal, tax or procurement advice, or a recommendation or endorsement of any provider, product or model. The COMPUTE.md skill is guidance for software agents and doesn’t guarantee any outcome.
The limits builder and the plan checker compare what you send with rules you choose. They don’t enforce anything, they can miss problems, and a clean check isn’t an approval or an assurance. Nothing on compute.md makes a setup compliant with any law, regulation or standard.
4.You’re responsible for your agents and accounts
compute.md never books, bills, provisions compute or holds credentials. Anything your agents launch runs on your own accounts, under your providers’ terms, at your cost. You are responsible for the limits you set, approvals, credentials, shutting resources down and following every provider’s terms.
5.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operators and contributors of compute.md are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of money, data, profits or business, arising from your use of, or inability to use, compute.md or any information from it, even if told such loss was possible. Where liability can’t be excluded, our total liability is limited to US$100.
6.Sources and trademarks
Model details are read from public Hugging Face model repositories. Hardware figures were collected by hand from vendor datasheets. Those sources belong to their owners, who are not affiliated with compute.md and don’t endorse it.
Chip, vendor, model and operating-system names are trademarks of their owners, used only to identify them. If you own a source or a mark and want us to change how we use it, write to us and we’ll act promptly.
7.Acceptable use
Don’t overload, attack or try to disrupt compute.md, and don’t use it to break the law or anyone else’s terms. We may rate-limit, block, change or stop any part of compute.md at any time, without notice.
8.Privacy and cookies
compute.md has no accounts and asks for no personal information. To learn what’s useful, we count page views, copies, skill fetches and API and MCP calls with anonymous server-side events. These use no cookies and store no IP addresses: a one-way daily hash of the IP address and browser string counts unique visitors, and the country comes from our host’s request headers.
Limits and plans you send to the API or MCP server are used only to answer that request. compute.md doesn’t store them.
Google Analytics, which sets cookies, runs only if you choose Accept in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of the home page. Our host keeps standard server logs.
9.License
The COMPUTE.md skill and this site’s code are under the MIT License. Third-party information is not covered by that license.
10.Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and continued use means you accept it.
